We often stay at very nice 4 to 5 star hotels in Asia, often over the top luxury and where service standands are very high. However, for a European hotel, we found Berliner Hof more than adequate, nice big room, good quality beds and bed linen. The only thing was the pillow, which in comparison to other hotels was very soft.
The bathroom was ok - nothing special, my parents had problems with the flushing. I would like to suggest a better ventilation in the bathroom.
